It was discovered that there was a potential denial-of-service (DoS) vulnerability in Django, a Python-based web development framework.

The issue was situated in the wrap() method of the django.utils.text module. This method and the |wordwrap template filter were subject to a potential DoS attack when used with very long strings.



For Debian 10 buster, these problems have been fixed in version 1:1.11.29-1+deb10u14.

For Debian 8 jessie, these problems have been fixed in version 1.7.11-1+deb8u19.

For Debian 9 stretch, these problems have been fixed in version 1:1.10.7-2+deb9u25.

We recommend that you upgrade your python-django packages.
